Our vision is to be the most transformative, equitable, and enduring residential arts program launched in the 21st century.
This cottage is helping us move from startup success to long term sustainability!
On October 16th, we reached our goal of $200,000 to purchase and renovate Artist Cottage 3 at 411 5th Street, Mt Gretna, PA.
Every dollar you donated was matched up to $100,000 through a challenge grant from the Thomas A and Georgina T Russo Family Foundation.
Artist Cottage #3 at 411 5th in the Campmeeting neighborhood of Mt Gretna. Help us to purchase and fix it up with a contribution today!
Our transformative programming deserves to last! Artist Cottages ensure that our artists will live, eat and breath art all day everyday while participating in our programs, making our school more sustainable.
A special characteristic of Mount Gretna is its 100+ year history as a welcoming summer residential arts and education retreat in the spirit and tradition of the Chautauqua Movement. MGSoA's own residential programming fits in like "hand in glove!"
Artist Cottage #1 & #2 helped stabilize our search for housing each year and lightened the load on our operating budget. We are so grateful to everyone who donated money and energy to the effort and it's paying off!
These investments help ensure the longevity and fiscal stability of our school, making sure artists have a place to live and find inspiration as Mount Gretna neighbors for years to come!
